Drain and rinse the beans, then return them to the pot and cover with fresh water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours or until the beans are tender.

    Drain and rinse the cooked beans, then transfer them to a large bowl and let cool to room temperature. Add the chopped onion, diced green and red peppers, and drained corn; toss to combine.
