Preheat the broiler. Lightly mash the avocado halves in a large bowl. Stir in the mayonnaise and lemon juice until well blended. Fold in the crabmeat, 3 tablespoons of the cilantro, the chives, serrano pepper, capers, and black pepper.

Spoon the crab mixture into the remaining avocado halves. Transfer the stuffed avocados to a baking sheet. Sprinkle the tops with the shredded pepper jack cheese and paprika. Broil for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with the remaining 1 tablespoon of cilantro and serve with lemon wedges.
