On a floured surface, roll two-thirds of the dough into an 18x14-inch rectangle. Carefully transfer the dough to a 13x9-inch baking dish, pressing it into the bottom and up the sides. In a bowl, combine the fresh or frozen blackberries, sugar, and 1/2 cup of flour. Pour the berry mixture into the prepared crust. Use the remaining dough to create a lattice top. Brush the pastry with half-and-half cream.
