Creamy Baked Buffalo Chicken Pasta
This creamy, cheesy Buffalo Chicken Pasta Bake features tender chicken in a zesty buffalo sauce, baked with penne pasta and melted Swiss cheese for a comforting and flavorful one-dish meal.
Instructions
-
1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook the penne pasta according to package directions until al dente.
-
2
In a large skillet, sauté the cubed chicken in 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet.
-
3
In the same skillet, sauté the carrots, celery, and onion in the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute longer.
-
4
Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the blue cheese dressing, mayonnaise, and hot sauce. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet along with the sautéed chicken. Toss to coat evenly.
-
5
Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the top with the shredded Swiss cheese and bread crumbs. Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
-
6
Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the dish is heated through.
