Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 13x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, letting the ends extend up the sides.

In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and salt. Stir in 1 cup of melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture onto the bottom of the prepared baking pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until lightly browned. Allow to cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter, vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon salt until well blended. Stir in 3 cups of the sweetened shredded coconut. Pour the coconut custard mixture over the baked crust. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of coconut over the top.
