In a large bowl, combine the quick-cooking oats, nonfat dry milk powder, dried apples, sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, and ground cloves. Store the oatmeal mix in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.

To prepare a serving of oatmeal, shake the mix well. In a small saucepan, bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil. Slowly stir in 1/2 cup of the oatmeal mix. Cook and stir over medium heat for 1 minute, then remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 1 minute or until the oatmeal reaches your desired consistency.
