In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink, then drain. In a large saucepan, combine the ketchup, green pepper, onion, brown sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, chili powder, and lemon-pepper seasoning. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Spread about 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce in a greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Layer with 3 lasagna noodles, half of the cooked beef, and half of the remaining barbecue sauce. Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella, cheddar, and Colby cheeses. Repeat the layers.

In a small bowl, combine the cottage cheese and egg. Spoon the mixture evenly over the top of the lasagna. Bake, uncovered, at 350°F for 50-60 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let the lasagna stand for about 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
