In a large stockpot, combine the tomato sauce, tomato paste, onions, green peppers, jalapeƱos, cilantro, garlic, vinegar, sugar, canning salt, cumin, and black pepper. Stir in the chopped and drained tomatoes.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, until the vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.

Carefully ladle the hot salsa into sterilized 1-pint jars, leaving 1/2-inch headspace. Remove any air bubbles and adjust the headspace if necessary. Wipe the rims and center the lids on the jars, then screw on the bands until fingertip tight.

Place the jars in a canner filled with simmering water, ensuring they are completely submerged. Bring the water to a boil and process the jars for 15 minutes. Carefully remove the jars and allow them to cool completely.
