Buttery Buttermilk Pecan Coffee Cake

In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, and salt. Mix well. Remove 1/2 cup of the mixture and set aside for the topping.

To the remaining flour mixture, add the beaten egg, buttermilk, and baking soda. Mix well until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.

In a small bowl, combine the reserved 1/2 cup flour mixture, chopped pecans, brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined. Sprinkle the pecan streusel topping evenly over the batter.
