Crispy Fried Doughnuts with Strawberry Jam Filling

Heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven to 350°F. Separate the biscuit dough and gently flatten each piece to about 1/2-inch thickness.

Fry the biscuit dough in batches for 1-1.25 minutes per side, until golden brown. Drain the fried doughnuts on a paper towel-lined plate.

Using a small knife, make a small hole in the side of each doughnut. Transfer the strawberry jam to a piping bag fitted with a small tip and pipe the jam into the center of each doughnut.

Toss the filled doughnuts in the confectioners' sugar until evenly coated. Serve the warm, sugar-dusted doughnuts immediately.
