Whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, salt, and pepper to make the dressing. Place the steak and 1/4 cup of the dressing in a resealable bag, seal, and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Reserve the remaining dressing.

Preheat grill or broiler. Drain the steak, discarding the marinade. Grill or broil the steak for 6-8 minutes per side, until it reaches the desired doneness (135°F for medium-rare, 160°F for medium). Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Divide the salad greens among 4-6 plates. Top with the grilled steak, cherry tomatoes, radishes, and avocado slices. Sprinkle with the dried cranberries and, if desired, the crumbled blue cheese and additional pepper. Serve with the reserved dressing.
