Savory Beef and Swiss Puff Pastry Bundles

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, mushrooms, and onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute longer. Drain the excess fat and stir in the Worcestershire sauce, rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper.

On a lightly floured surface, roll the puff pastry into a 15x13-inch rectangle. Cut it into four 7-1/2x6-1/2-inch rectangles. Place about 2 tablespoons of mashed potatoes over each rectangle, spreading it to within 1 inch of the edges. Top each with 3/4 cup of the beef mixture and 1/4 cup of the shredded Swiss cheese.

Beat the egg and water together. Brush the pastry edges with the egg mixture. Bring the opposite corners of the pastry over each bundle and pinch the seams to seal. Transfer the bundles to a greased baking sheet and brush the tops with the remaining egg mixture. Bake at 400°F for 17-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
