Grilled Barbecue Chicken Wings
These juicy, flavor-packed grilled chicken wings are coated in a tangy, sweet, and slightly spicy barbecue sauce. The perfect finger-licking appetizer or game day snack.

In a large saucepan, sauté the onion in oil until tender. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, cayenne, and cumin. Simmer, uncovered, for 8-10 minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat and stir in the hot pepper sauce. Set aside 2/3 cup of the barbecue sauce for serving.

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken wings in batches and turn to coat.

Lightly oil the grill grates. Grill the wings over medium heat or broil 4 inches from the heat for 12-16 minutes, turning occasionally. Brush with some of the barbecue sauce.

Continue grilling, uncovered, for 8-10 minutes longer or until the juices run clear, basting and turning several times. Serve with the reserved barbecue sauce.
