Grilled Vegetable and Sausage Packets

Place the sliced vegetables on three double thicknesses of heavy-duty foil (about 18 inches square). Top each with the sliced sausage and dot with the cubed butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Fold the foil around each vegetable and sausage mixture, sealing the packets tightly.

Grill the packets, covered, over medium heat for 30 minutes. Turn and continue grilling until the vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes longer.
