In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add the warm water, milk, and melted butter, and beat on low speed until well combined.

Turn the dough onto a well-floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place the dough in a greased bowl, turning once to grease the top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the sausage until no longer pink; drain and let cool. Stir in the mozzarella cheese, 2 beaten eggs, and the basil.
