Baked Brie and Cherry Puff Pastry Bites

Preheat oven to 375°F. Unfold puff pastry and cut into 36 squares. Gently press the squares into the bottoms of a greased 36-cup mini muffin tin.

Bake the pastry cups for 10 minutes. Using the end of a wooden spoon, make a 1/2-inch deep indentation in the center of each cup. Bake for an additional 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Press the centers down again with the spoon.

Spoon about 1/2 teaspoon of cherry preserves into each pastry cup. Top with a cube of brie cheese and sprinkle with chopped pecans and minced chives. Bake for 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
