Cook the fettuccine according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove the bacon from the skillet using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels, reserving 3 tablespoons of the bacon drippings.

Season the cubed chicken with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken in the reserved bacon drippings over medium-high heat until no longer pink.
