In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flour and paprika. Add the beef strips, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat.

In a large skillet, brown the coated beef strips in the canola oil over medium-high heat. Add the undiluted French onion soup and Burgundy wine or beef broth. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10-12 minutes or until the beef is no longer pink and the sauce has thickened.
